Remarks & Notes

Recently returned to traffic at the Worth Valley after lengthy overhauls are a BR 'Standard 4' class 4-6-0 and an ex-Southern Railway 'West Country' class Pacific. This makes the perfect combination for recreating the famed 'Pines Express' that back in the 1950s and 1960s once ran on the sadly lamented Somerset and Dorset route. 75078 and 34092 'City of Wells' have just arrived at Oxenhope with just such a recreation and a fine sight they make as they run forward to couple up and return their train to Keighley.
