Today marks day one of CTC west of Glenwood in Minnesota. Scheduled to start up at 0600 today, there were signals that still needed work around mid-morning. Not sure how many trains have come through here today, but the 8812 here had issues at Hoffman East. Though lined for the main, they were met with a diverging clear. The dispatcher talked them by until the problem could be fixed.
Here, the train is back into TWC territory just east of Barrett. Once CTC is up here, the signal will be the approach to Hoffman West. Until then, it is now just a distant signal. The next phase is Hoffman to Orchid.
