| Southern Pacific AC4400CWs No. 248 and 128 lead a 105 car MNGVC through the Gilluly horseshoe the morning of Aug. 24, 1996. Two additional AC4400CWs are cut in mid train as distributed power units with a trio of manned Rio Grande SD40T-2s tacked on the rear keeping the train under control during the 50 mile, 3000 ft. descent to Provo. |
