| Shortly after sunrise on a spring morning, Rovos Rail's Cape Town to Pretoria train is reflected in a small farm dam as it heads east along the Potchefstroom - Houtheuwel link line. Two grubby class 6E1's in Spoornet orange livery are doing the honours up front. Only about 100 of the 6E/6E1's remain in service and are already a rare sighting on this line. |
