Remarks & Notes

The Gooseneck Curves lie deep within the walls of the Price River Canyon. The curves and grade make for a challenging climb for this heavy westbound manifest. The Wasatch Mountains and book Cliffs are a nearly impenetrable barrier running for hundreds of miles. There are very few canyons suitable for modern transportation to exit the vast desert expanse.
