Remarks & Notes |
A rare daylight freight cuts through the Winooski River fog in Duxbury, Vermont. The leading and trailing units represent two different phases in the lifeline of the railroad. The blue unit is the original scheme from 1995 when Railtex took over operations from CN. At that point the railroad that had been known as the Central Vermont for 147 years became the New England Central. The lead locomotive sports the G&W corporate colors that matches the foliage nicely. |
