Piercing the clouds over New York City is the 2014 Tribute In Light, the once a year commemoration of the horrific events of 9/11 2001. 88 lights were used to produce the twin light effect. On the right stands the newly opened One World Trade Center which has risen from the ashes of the Twin Towers. Below it all streaks the No.7 subway train, doing it's job of carrying thousands of New Yorkers on their everyday journeys. May this image help those of us who survived that day to pause, to reflect and to Never Forget.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
