The Maryland Midland Union Bridge to Highfield Turn has four new locomotives for the MMID dead in consist as the UBHF heads down the Catoctin Grade at Lantz, MD. Four former SP SD45s have been rebuilt to SD40-2 standards and repainted in the Genesee & Wyoming corporate scheme. The two GP38s on the point, along with three of their brethren, have already been lettered for the Central Oregon & Pacific. They will be moved to Oregon once the new locomotives are in service on the Midland.
