Class 34 (600) Series, 34-649, is one of a 100 built by General Motors South Africa as Type GT26MC between 1974 and 1976 for South African Railways. With just on 40 years service now, she is pictured here doing shunt work in the yard at Cato Ridge Station. 34-649, by way of the LOG emblem, has been on lease at some stage and done some work on the line between Bulawayo and Victoria Falls for New Limpopo Projects Investments.
