| On the Swiss National Day, 1st of august, the 75 year old double red arrow "Churchill Pfeil" RAe 4/8 # 1021 made a interesting trip on the Gotthard line in search of the myth of the Gotthard, center and origin of Switzerland. On the way back home in the evening, driver M.H. is just starting the train in Thalwil for the last leg to Zürich main station. The partly 75 years old controls contrasts with the modern timetable on a portable computer above the instruments. |
