Remarks & Notes |
Under a moisture ladened sky, former Hammond Lumber Company 2-8-2T number 17 pulls Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad's passenger train over the Nisqually River in the Cascade foothills near Elbe, WA. This is former Milwaukee Road trackage that was abandoned in the early 1980's when the road retrenched from their western extension. |
