| Because of too much tonnage for the power assigned to this train, G594 would have to delay its departure as it killed some time cutting off a few cars from its heavy grain train before leaving. It would finally accelerate out of Montgomery and past the city's newest urban farm during the late afternoon light. Sitting on former railroad land, the urban farm is home to some interesting items such as a former WofA caboose and a windmill that actually works to pump ground water up to this manmade habitat. This 4 year old farm is a nice addition to the city and another tourist attraction located along the revitalized downtown River Walk. |
