A CSX Dash 8 pulls hard up the grade at Tunnel Hill, GA. "The Great Locomotive Chase" took place here in 1861. To the right of this photograph is the old tunnel, built in 1849. Next to that is The Clisby Austin House which acted at General Sherman's (Union) headquarters as he planned his attack against the confederates in his famous Atlanta Campaign as the Union troops pushed south.
