Remarks & Notes

A view looking at the shuttered former LTV Steel Mining Company (Erie Mining) trestle and ore dock at Taconite Harbor. The ore dock hasn't been used for shipping ore in ten years (LTV quit in 2001 and successor Cliffs Erie dumped some remaining ore here in 2004, later to be reclaimed and shipped out by rail in 2008).
