| During the Conrail years I would usually take the time to scout out a shot or new angle but these days I have gotten much lazier in the hobby. A day before my birthday on a stellar, blue dome Saturday morning, I made an exception for a southbound oil with a nearly new "swoosh" ACE on point and sought out this angle on a favorite curve alongside Route 9W. CSXT has been busy with a small army of contractors getting the northend section of the River Sub between Ravena(CP-128) and Coxsackie(CP-121) ready for doubletrack operations. A new crossover has already been installed in New Baltimore at the future CP-124 to help expedite traffic better with this new oil boom. |
