Remarks & Notes

CNW 1281 one of two SW600s on the CNW (the other, 1280 also served Eau Claire) does some switching outside the Uniroyal tire factory at Eau Claire tower. The shot taken from the tower shows No. 1281 on the eastbound main as well as the piping used to operate turnouts and signals at this location. The Milw. Rd. boxcar in back of the engine is on the interchange track.
