Remarks & Notes

A trio of MMID GP38s head up the Union Bridge to Highfield turn on the Catoctin Grade. An old Western Maryland signal mast serves as a reminder that change is constant in railroading. Soon these locomotives will be repainted and sent west to another G&W railroad. It was a good day to appreciate them one more time.
