Remarks & Notes
Amtrak westbound train number three was treading lightly through the remains of a two story building that was being moved across Santa Fe's Second District main line in Highland Park, CA hours earlier. A westbound Santa Fe freight came around the curve and plowed through the building leaving only debris the lead unit of which had to be set out seen in the distance. Fortunately there were no serious injuries in the encounter and the reason for the miscommunication is unknown to me.
