| The snow blower crew from Pontresina is clearing the stub track on Alp Grüm with the powerful "La Bestia" ("the Beast") from about 1 meter of fresh snow fallen in the two previous days. The engine is in "first drive" mode, which means that the blower drums are set to 3.6 meters width and the snow is evacuated down to 8 cm above top of rail. |
