| Two former Deutsche Bundesbahn "racehorses" are starting their 8 car train from Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg up over the "Schiefe Ebene" with a grade of 2.5 % to Marktschorgast. 01 202 of association "Pacific 01 202" in Lyss/Switzerland, left the repair works of Meiningen the day before after a nearly two years overhaul. 01 150 of DB Museum/Eisenbahnstiftung J.Schmidt is operational again since may 5th 2013. Both locomotives were based in Hof in the 1970', till 1970/73 and ran regularly on this line. |
