CN 5444 leads the Illinois Central Santa train southbound on the Gilman Sub on a brisk morning at 45 miles an hour in early December. The cab is packed full of railroad employees and their kids, the entire freshly painted engine is decked out in Christmas lights and portable steps are chained to the front pilot to allow easy access for every single child that visits Santa to blow the horn and see the inside of a locomotive cab, truly a class act, way to go CN!
