It's a frosty 26 degrees in Highfield, MD as the Maryland Midland UBHF pulls into the CSX interchange. Most of these cars are loaded with cement from the Lehigh Cement Co. plant in Union Bridge. A frozen switch on the set out track will prolong today's switching move. I'm thinking it would be much nicer to be up in the cab than hand-throwing switches on a day like today.
