Remarks & Notes

A southbound local crosses the new bridge (completed mid 2012) as it climbs Muldraugh Hill. This bridge replaced an ancient structure known among railroaders as the "straight trestle" or "low trestle". About a third of a mile up the hill from here an even larger construction project is currently underway, replacing the larger and taller "curved trestle" or "high trestle".
