| A german Intercity-Express (ICE) of the first generation (ICE 1) is passing the station of Allersberg (Rothsee) on the high speed route Nuremberg - Ingolstadt (opened in 2006). These trains regularly drive with a maximum speed of 250 kph (about 155 mph) on this route, in exceptional cases up to 280 kph (about 174 mph). The speed limit is 300 kph (about 186 mph) which can only be reached by the ICE 3 regularly. |
