Remarks & Notes
Prior to firing up Cargill NW2 1320, the caps on the stacks must be removed. CRGX 1320 was built in June 1949 as Texas & New Orleans 80. The engine was later renumbered into parent Southern Pacific's scheme, becoming SP 1922 and, later, SP 1320. It was eventually sold to WRSX, who passed it along to Cargill. After working at Cargill's elevator in Devore, California (at the lower end of Cajon Pass), the engine ended up at Horizon Milling in Saginaw, Texas, where it was photographed on October 14th, 2011.
