Amtrak’s eastbound California Zephyr drops down off the front range of the Rocky Mountains at Eisele, Colorado, on the afternoon of June 2, 2013. The train is passing through the former location of Clay, recently renamed Eisele to honor a retiring official on the UP. To the right down below is the western portion of Rocky siding in this view is looking north toward the Flatirons and Boulder.
