The 1202 was built for CB&Q in 1959 #610, to BN renumbered #259, to Pacific Transportation Services renumbered #1202, To Simpson Timber #1202 in 1984. Simpson owns four EMD end cab switchers, one SW900 and three SW1200s, all operable.
