NKP No. 765 is doing what Lima Locomotive designed it to: Move a train and move it fast! Here you see the Fort Wayne Historical Society's locomotive move Norfolk Southern's first public steam excursions in decades. The passenger excursion was a round trip from Lewistown to Galitzen PA over the former Pennsylvania Railroad's famed Middle Division. Huge thanks from the public to FWHS for lovingly maintaining the engine and NS for hosting the trip. I send big thanks to my wingman Mitch for inspiration to do this shot with a perfect (and safe) execution of camera car driving.
Photos by some of the best railroad still photographers in North America. These photographers must have a significant impact on the art form and have been shooting (or shot in the past) for at least 10 years.
