| A Saturday extra Burlington Electric wood chip train was called on May 18, sending the NECR GP40-2CU (GP40-2LW) 3015 north from St. Albans to retrieve the 21 loaded chip cars and the lone CV caboose in service on the NECR off the Swanton Spur. At 09:30 the crew eases the train out onto the bridge over the Missisquoi River on the trip south to Winooski and the Burlington Electric plant. |
