While riding up the West Highland Line from Glasgow to Fort William on my honeymoon, I was fascinated by the incredible scenery outside the train's windows. About an hour before reaching our destination, the conductor walked by, saw my ready camera and said, "Oh, you want to take pictures? Come with me." To my incredulous surprise, he lowered the window in the rear cabin, said "here you go," and walked away -- such an opportunity would never have been granted back home! This scene was captured as we dropped down from the summit at Corrour, running high above Loch Treig with Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin across the water, Stob Coire Sgriodain straight ahead and autumn colours brightening the dramatic landscape.
