| Remarks & Notes |
| Rio Grande's Midvale Tramp descends the 2.2% grade of the Bingham Branch at Dalton Junction. Kennecott Copper's Bingham Canyon Mine is nestled in the Oquirrh Mountains at left while the new ore conveyor is under construction at right. This new conveyer system killed most of the ore haulage by rail between the mine and the smelter at Garfield. The D&RGW trackage is gone today as well, with the right of way utilized as a high tension power line corridor. |
