Rio Grande's 'Short Line Transfer' from Roper Yard moves a lengthy cut of cars through Grant Tower, bound for UP North Yard in Salt Lake City. Most of the elements that make up this 1987 photograph are gone today at 6th West and South Temple Streets, including the four man crew working this inner city transfer.
