| With the Hoboken substation still off line, all trains must continue to operate into Hoboken Terminal with diesel propulson. Almost all the weekday Gladstone to Hoboken trains are assigned the new Bombardier ALP45DP dual mode locomotives. Operating on the Gladstone Branch, the units normally operate in the electric mode. Along the M&E mainline the trains transfer to diesel mode, allowing operation into the Hoboken Terminal. |
