On March 14, 2002, the Grand Canyon Railway train has arrived at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona. The passenger train is led by a matched set of Alco-designed Montreal Locomotive Works (MLW) FPA-4s built in 1959.
The Grand Canyon Railroad, operating a 64-miles former Santa Fe branch to the eponymous natural wonder, is one of the best tourist railroads in the United States. It operates both steam and diesel locomotives.
