Cascade green and ducks On July 14, 1987, another Burlington Northern coal empty passes the shore of Palmer Lake on Colorado’s infamous Joint Line. A General Electric C30-7 leads three U30Cs in the all-GE locomotive set, as two ducks wallow (do ducks wallow?) in the shallow water along the shoreline of the lake.
