Working through the upper curves of the horseshoe at Mance, Pennsylvania, a westbound CSX intermodal train is climbing Sand Patch Grade to the summit of the Alleghenies. The locomotive consist is decked out in the 1970’s era colors of Chessie System, including lead GP40-2 No. 6006.
