First run of 1010 The second section of Burlington Northern Santa Fe stack train No. 15 is pulled by C44-9Ws No. 1010 and 1009 east of Java, Montana, on Marias Pass on October 8, 1996. This is the first run west for these two new General Electric locomotives painted in a new livery for the BNSF later dubbed “Heritage I” and the fresh paint lights up in the late afternoon sun.
