| Not so Caliente at Caliente With rain and snow only a few hours away, temperatures start to fall into the low 30s on the pass. At Caliente, the temperature was 38F degrees; which is not so Caliente (Caliente is Spanish for Hot). BNSF 7750 leads an eastbound empty grain shuttle up Tehachapi Pass as it snakes along the hill side. |
