| Before the WC had an F45 numbered 6655 they had this ex BN/Frisco SD45 that was also numbered 6655. The WC chose it for a special lettering scheme that had "Our first anniversary" on the long hood. The unit looked good but apparently didn't perform well or suffered a major failure a couple years after this photo. It was retired early and was one of a very few SD45's that was ever retired by WC. |
