An eastbound Southern Pacific freight grinds through the multiple curves and steep 3% grade between Red Cliff and Pando on Colorado’s historic Tennessee Pass. Three new General Electric AC4400CWs pull the heavy train (Nos. 193, 292 and 304) on this summer afternoon of August 2, 1996.
