| After exchanging trains with the LUJ61 local at Echo, Union Pacific's LUJ51 local glides downgrade through Weber Canyon at Taggarts. Three loads of old ties were picked up en route off the house track at Devil's Slide. The UP 3212 and 3215 were built new by EMD for the Union Pacific in April 1973. What are the chances the two would be working together nearly 40 years later? |
