| One of the biggest railfanning highlights of my Summerail trip was catching the Reading heritage unit leading empty coal train 77J out of Louisville on the afternoon of August 9th. It seemed like every railfan in the time zone was swarming the area, but I was the only photographer camped out at the north end of the K&I Bridge -- where, surprisingly, there aren't any no trespassing signs until one gets to the barriers where the roadway is closed. I certainly have no complaints! CSX's Hoosier Sub is in the foreground. |
