Remarks & Notes |
Running well out if it's normal area, East Midlands Trains HST 43049 and 43054 skirt alongside the River Tyne at Hagg Bank, just west of Wylam, with the return leg of a UKRailtours tour from Carlisle to London St Pancras.
1Z43 14:40 Carlisle - London St Pancras
Hagg Bank Bridge originally carried the North Tyne Loop from Scotswood and joined up with the Newcastle & Carlisle railway more or less where the trailing power car is. It now carries a cyclepath. |
