At Sekonyela, east of Ficksburg, the early morning sunlight greets Transnet's 18-car Phelophepa health care train. The two class 34 GE's in Spoornet orange livery are working hard to haul the train up the long steady climb to the first summit at Ionia, the first of many that lie ahead on the run to Bethlehem.
