The hardest pull between Waterloo and Dubuque eastbound is Dyersville Hill at MP 208. Here a loaded ethanol train is blasting up the hill today since they have 3 units instead of the normal 2 units. Normal 2 unit ethanol loads will usually get down to around 10-15mph. |
