| Under a beautiful late summer sky SP 8115,8148 followed by DRGW 5358,5507 approach the west end of the big yard at North Fond du Lac. After a crew change and adding a pusher for the shove over Byron this job will be on its way to Chicago and interchange with the SP for the trip to Geneva Steel. When the Geneva Steel ore contract first started the SP contributed tired SD's to the pool. Upon arrival of these new GE's on the property they became the power of choice on these ore trains until newer yet AC4400-CW's took over. |
