At 5:00 PM, the rush hour at NJ Transit's Hoboken Terminal is in full swing. This station is also the ferry terminal for those wanting to sail across the Hudson River to Manhattan, the lights of which are visible in the background. Note the "LACKAWANNA" lettering illuminated on the clock tower, although one of the "A"s has burned out. NJ Transit engines 4015, 4112 and 4023 (left to right) can been seen in this shot.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
