In summer of 1984 this classy little ten wheeler and train tour the CNW system. Here it is steaming hard out of Waukegan with bell and whistle for a work group to my 6 near the eastside of Oakwood cemetery. I am perched atop a pole to elevate my view and include as much of Lake Michigan and Waukegan harbour as I can. I remember the stern lecture I received from the gang foreman after the train had passed. He was as serious as a heart attack about my risk taking and gave me a very hard time... but it was hard to keep from smiling with his work group all making faces and gestures behind his back!
