| A class 52 "Western" loco heads away from Bristol Temple Meads station with a mixed train of passenger and parcels stock in May 1969.These popular machines handled most of the express duties on the Western Region at the time,although that time was rapidly running out.This particular machine,number D1058 "Western Nobleman",was withdrawn in January 1977 and cut up at Swindon Works in June 1979. |
