| LSRC 975 spends another cold night outside. The unit started her life as Boston & Maine #1517 before having her nose chopped and having a 12-251C engine put in by Morrison Knudsen. The unit came to the D&M in September of 1975 and spent 36 years in Northeast Michigan before she was scrapped in July 2011. Equal credit for this photo goes to contributor Ron Cady. |
